Sunday ( End of first week)

Sorry about the long times between posts. It has been very busy up here since I got back with school and friends and late nights and early mornings and working out and eating out and church and bible studies and worship times and classes and meals and sleeping and most importantly, worrying about non-important things.

So, today was absolutely beautiful. About 55 degrees and blue sky with some wisps of cloud and a light breeze. I went to church this morning with Will Peterson, a friend of mine.

I am happy to be back although this quarter will be more difficult than the last because of the more complicated and larger workload.

I have to admit, part of the reason for not posting as often is that I am unsure of how many people look at this. So with that uncertainty in mind, I am hesitant to spend my rather limited amount of time writing to nobody. (well, yo get the idea)

Anyhow, enjoy this new year, the year of change. Not only is this a leap year, but it is an even year and the year of presidential elections with is always uncertain.
So in this coming year, here is a resolution for you.

"Don't vote late, in two thousand and eight."

First Day of Classes

So I am back to classes. I know it is sad that I am gone and I realize you are probably pining my absence. But I am very happy to be back. I have my routine again and it is nice to have a schedule and something that challenges my brain again.

I got in yesterday afternoon and my roommate was sleeping. So I left my stuff in the room, spent 15 minutes trying to find a place to park my car and then went to lunch. One thing of note. We watched a movie that evening and then at 11:00pm some guys decided to go to Palamini's (a restaurant in downtown Bellingham that sells Russian Dumplings.) I was roped into going and was designated as driver. So, the point is, it was very fun but I didn't get to bed until 12:30.
This morning I got up at 7:00 and got ready for the day. My roommate and I have opposite schedules so he is usually in class when I am not and visa versa. It is rather nice to wake up and have the room to myself every morning. Anyway, at 8:00 I had my first class, Beginning Weight Training. It should be a good experience, learning how to properly use equipment and so on. Also, it will get my blood flowing and brain working early in the day. Later today I have Psychology, Calculus and Chemistry.

The first day of classes is very slow. Most of the teachers only use about half the time, and spend it talking about how the class will work. So here I sit, with over an hour before my next class. (which will also end early, leaving me with time for lunch)

There was snow on the ground this morning as I went to class. The temperature is fine as long as there is no wind. Once the wind picks up then it is bad. It cuts right through your clothes, dragging the warmth from your very bones.

Its That Time!

As they round the last bend, engines roar tires burn and people cheer! That's right ladies and gentlemen, the time has come. School has returned and with it, it brings new life to this blog. Stay tuned for an amazing new wave of humor, intrigue, action, mystery, and much more. (wow! This sounds really cool)

The newest asset to this blog is...I have found my video cord so I can upload photos when ever I want, instead of having to ask my RA to borrow hers. So that is it, a new start to a new year.

Pictures and Whatnot

Well, now that I have finally taken the time to retrieve my password (and hopefully remember it) here are some pictures from Christmas Concerts, which went very well. The pictures are of three of the scenes set up around the gym, each of which does one freeze frame per song for the first bit of the concert.


I also played portions of Handel's Messiah for the music department chair's church (yay getting paid!!!) and in the Christmas concert for the church I attend.
I'm now back home and am very happy to be so. :) I've been busy making Christmas presents for the past three days, and having fun learning photostudio. :)
Finals went well, and I especially enjoyed the Pirates of the Caribbean marathon I did with some friends (and I finally got to live up to the college student image of wasting time yes!!!!! - those of you planning on college, fyi if you want good grades, the stories about being able to totally goof off aren't true except after all your finals are done. Oh wait, all my friends are either athletes or musicians, maybe that's where all the rumored goof off time goes. Anyway...)

Since I doubt I'll post again before Christmas... and doubt many of you will read it before then:

Security Problems

I am sorry to announce a security breach in this blog. A spy infiltrated the network and altered the blog. Fear not, this spy has been identified and subdued. You may all go to sleep peacefully knowing that we have once again restored safety and security to this place.
