Bike trip up the Oregon coast. Well, what to say, we started last week in Redding California and road out along Hwy 299 towards the coast. When we got to hwy 101 we headed north and are now at Cresent City staying with some friends. We hope to head out tomorrow and make it up to Coos Bay and stay overnight with a couch surfer guy Jordan found. A lot of fun and exciting stuff happened on the trip up here from camping by and swimming in the rivers, hitchhiking to get over mountain passes, running out of water and fuel and being woken up by Park Rangers telling us we are not allowed to camp there. It has been great so far but every muscle and bone aches after riding so long and the simple things, like hot running water and electricity take on such a meaningful importance when you are deprived of them.
Thats all the time I have right now, God has been good and his provision is made so much clearer when you are out of your comfort zone.
