Dorm sweet dorm

I back at school now. There are classes to do, friends to hangout with, bible studies to plan and snow in the mountains. My new roommate, Will has decorated our room and it looks much more lived in and homely.

Did you mean 'homey'? Homely means sad and despondent, not cared for... etc. I think you meant 'homey', which is actually slang.
