Hiking the Oyser Dome
Today Lodrick Williams and I hiked to the top of the Oyster Dome. It is a mountain overlooking the San Juan Islands. We got to the top right at sunset. It was beautiful but then the hike back was in the dark and we had no flashlights or jackets. Lodrick slipped and fell into a creek on the way back and I walked into a low hanging branch but other than that it was great.

Wow, Levi, so glad to see that you are able to take these wonderful hikes and explore God's scenery. It sure has been a great experience.
NOV.GREETINGS, OYSTER dome looks awesome! I liked your attitude--you made it home !!Karen and grandpa made it back home in the dark on the 15th also with 2 deers to clean! thsipsym
From Grandpa G. Thanks for the blog from the Oyste Dome. Appreciate your pictures. A monster buck emerged about where your deer showed last time you were there . It stopped up on the hill and assumed the attitude of a statue. I hurriedly sent some lead his way, but poorly directed (not well aimed). He stood there a full minute while I attempted to unjam the rifle, and then disappeared. That's my tale of woe - still in deep depression. But I'll go back and wait for him to emerge again, Now I'm back home getting warmed up. Bye for now. GG
Epic! I am jealous... did you hike from the college side or drive around to the Seattle side?
